Video from Guilford County Schools

From Achieve Guilford:

“Proposed curriculum concentrations will include renewable energy, biomedical sciences and engineering. In addition to core courses, ninth- and tenth-grade students will select from a wide variety of service-learning activities that provide enriching experiences and foster leadership, service and collaboration.  Additionally, students will have opportunities to intern with local businesses.”

The early college will open next fall with 50 ninth-grade students. A new freshman class will be added each year, with the school reaching full 9-12 enrollment when the 2012 freshmen are seniors in 2015.
