An Aggie Researcher needs your Internet vote

Your votes via the Internet through March 15 could help win $10,000 for Dr. Manuel Reyes of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Design.  Reyes is competing for the grant to support his project “Natuculture: Biomimicry in Urban Environments.”

The Intelligent Use of Water Awards are sponsored by Rain Bird Corp., a provider of irrigation systems and services.  You can vote once per day through March 15.  The natuculure project is seventh in the voting; the top three vote-getters will be funded. Please join us in bookmarking this page and voting daily.  Thanks!

And for more on Dr. Reyes’s natuculture work, see Page 19 of the Spring 2011 issue of Evolution, the N.C. A&T research magazine.

2011 in review on the Aggie Research blog

WordPress.com prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A New York City subway train holds 1,200 people. This blog was viewed about 7,000 times in 2011. If it were a NYC subway train, it would take about 6 trips to carry that many people.
