NIH grantsmanship with the new guidelines

If you’re a researcher and you think you may ever want to get funding from the National Institutes of Health, here’s someplace you need to be on Thursday:

WHAT: “NIH Grantsmanship with the New Guidelines,” a roundtable discussion recapping a workshop held in Chapel Hill earlier this year.

WHEN AND WHERE: Thursday, June 9th, 11:00 a.m. to noon, Fort IRC, Room 410.

DETAILS: Faculty members who attended the UNC–CH workshop in April will share the most significant findings, which included what PIs struggle with the most with the new guidelines, the views of UNC–CH faculty members who have been awarded NIH R01 grants using the new guidelines, and those of UNC–CH faculty members who have served as reviewers using the NIH’s new scoring system.  Please feel free to bring your lunch if it’s your only time to eat.

RSVP: If you plan to attend, please RSVP by e-mailing Nora Shively, Office of Research Services, at nshivelyncatsu@gmail.com.
