Upcoming training: OSP policies/procedures, social/behavioral research funding workshop

Two upcoming DORED training sessions worth noting:

Thursday February 24 — Lunch and Learn: OSP Policies and Procedures. Learn how to navigate the Office of Sponsored Programs’ improved policies and procedures for proposal submissions and award processing. Noon-1 p.m., Fort IRC, Room 410.

Monday February 28 — Social and Behavioral Sciences Research Workshop #2. Come learn about resources available at North Carolina A&T to support community-based research, creating meaningful academic-community partnerships, and developing inter-institutional partnerships. Continental breakfast and networking lunch will be provided. 8:15 a.m. to 1 p.m., Fort IRC, Room 410.

“Read-In” at Bluford Library tomorrow

The Library will participate in the 22nd National African American Read-In tomorrow from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Bluford Library Seminar Room. The event is an effort to make African American literacy a part of Black History Month. All members of the A&T community are invited to read from works written by African American authors.  For details, see the Lunch and Literature blog.

Research controversy vs. football controversy: Comparing two high-profile cases in Chapel Hill
