Nanoengineering master’s gets final approval; UNC president pushing staff to move on Ph.D.

The UNC Board of Governors today approved A&T’s proposal to offer a master’s of science degree in nanoengineering through the Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering.  The first students will be admitted in the fall.  A&T’s proposal for Ph.D. is still in bureaucratic limbo with the General Administration staff.  According to the News & Record, new UNC President Tom Ross wants them to get moving on it.
