A&T’s new research frontier: Social & Behavioral Sciences

There’s more to research than engineering and agriculture … even at A&T.  Researchers in the social and behavioral sciences have traditionally been an underrepresented group among Aggie researchers.  But they’re here, they’re producing important work, and now they’re getting a new level of support.

On Tuesday October 26, we’re holding a workshop on research in the social and behavioral sciences. Topics will include:  Why research in this area is important — especially now. What currently is happening in the field.  How to combine and integrate social and behavioral science research across disciplines and within community engagement.  Research methods, proposal development, and managing SBS research projects.

Dr. Sharon Cook of Social Work will be among the presenters.  Other presenters are from UNC-Chapel Hill and Wake Forest.

The details:

Tuesday October 26, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
